The theme for this contemporary art print was inspired by a visit to an old church in a California town. It had been a cloudy day when I arrived; I sat quietly admiring the church’s stained-glass windows — and the artist who had created them.

Then, just as I was about to leave, the sun broke through the clouds. Suddenly, brilliant colors of blue, purple, teal, red, and more spilled across the church’s tan-colored walls. The transformation was breathtaking. I knew immediately that I wanted to capture those colors in a painting.

More than simply beautiful works of art, the Meditations series invites us to pause and reflect on the beauty of creation. Each piece can stand on its own, but there is something especially powerful about experiencing all four together.

One is heavenly. All four are divine.

Meditations 2 is a beautiful and affordable way to enjoy a Mark Travers work of art. Each Gallery print is produced on premium card stock with very good color and clarity, making it an ideal choice for bringing fine art into your home, office or hospitality environment.

Meditations 2 is the gallery print version of Sacred Symmetry 2, the museum print.
